Asbestos Worker
32 hrs / 4 Days
The Asbestos Worker Training Course prepares individuals to safely perform asbestos removal or repair on abatement and O&M projects. The course includes instruction on proper handling techniques, OSHA and EPA safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and decontamination procedures. These elements ensure workers operate in compliance with state and federal asbestos laws. All removal or repair activities must be conducted under the supervision of a certified Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor to guarantee safety and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Asbestos Inspector
24 hrs / 3 Days
The Asbestos Inspector Training Course certifies individuals to identify, assess, and report asbestos-containing materials (ACMs). This training is required for professionals conducting building surveys, identifying materials, evaluating conditions, or collecting bulk samples for lab analysis. Participants gain knowledge of inspection methods, applicable regulations, and sampling protocols. Completing the course ensures inspectors are equipped to comply with state and federal requirements for asbestos identification and documentation in various types of facilities.
Asbestos Management Planner
16 hrs / 2 Days
The Asbestos Management Planner Training Course certifies licensed Asbestos Inspectors to create effective Asbestos Management Plans (MPs) for facilities. While EPA rules under AHERA and ASHARA focus on public school buildings, many states extend responsibilities and compliance requirements to other types of properties. This course provides comprehensive training on developing and maintaining MPs, understanding regulatory obligations, and coordinating long-term asbestos management strategies to meet both federal and state laws for public and private structures.
Asbestos Project Designer
24 hrs / 3 Days
The Asbestos Project Designer Training Course certifies individuals to develop written abatement plans for asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) in buildings and contaminated sites. The course covers regulatory compliance, project design, site assessment, and best practices in engineering controls for abatement. Project Designers are responsible for creating safe, detailed work plans to ensure proper containment, removal, and cleanup. This certification supports compliance with EPA, OSHA, and state guidelines across a wide range of asbestos management situations.

Asbestos Awareness Class
2 hrs Online Class
This OSHA- and EPA-compliant course is tailored for maintenance and custodial personnel who may inadvertently disturb asbestos-containing materials (ACM) during cleaning or minor repairs. Required under EPA AHERA regulations for school custodial staff, the course provides vital training on asbestos hazards, safe work procedures, and regulatory compliance. Participants will understand how to minimize exposure risks and follow established safety protocols. Some local and state jurisdictions may impose additional training or certification requirements for custodial personnel.
Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor Training
This EPA- and OSHA-approved course is required for individuals who supervise asbestos abatement and operations & maintenance (O&M) projects. It meets accreditation standards under AHERA and ASHARA for work in K-12 schools and extends to public and commercial buildings. Participants receive hands-on instruction in safety practices, legal responsibilities, liability management, and regulatory compliance. The course ensures supervisors are fully trained to lead and monitor asbestos removal activities in accordance with federal and state laws.
Texas Law and Rules Course
3 hrs
This mandatory, state-approved course is required for those seeking an asbestos license or worker registration with the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), including individuals submitting out-of-state training credentials. The three-hour course provides comprehensive instruction on Texas-specific asbestos laws, regulations, and recognized industry practices. Completion is required before participating in any licensed asbestos-related activities in Texas. It serves as a prerequisite for ensuring legal compliance and safe workplace conduct during abatement projects.
Air Monitoring Technician (AMT) Training
This DSHS-approved course trains individuals to monitor air quality during asbestos abatement projects in Texas. Graduates will be qualified to collect air samples using Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) methods for building owners and abatement personnel. While this course prepares students for sample collection, it does not include PCM analysis certification, which must be obtained separately. The training emphasizes safety standards, regulatory compliance, and accurate sampling procedures in alignment with Texas guidelines.
