Air Monitoring Technician (AMT) Training
This DSHS-approved course trains individuals to monitor air quality during asbestos abatement projects in Texas. Graduates will be qualified to collect air samples using Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) methods for building owners and abatement personnel. While this course prepares students for sample collection, it does not include PCM analysis certification, which must be obtained separately.
