Asbestos Contractor/ Supervisor Training Course

Who Should Take This Course?

The Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor Training Course is designed for individuals responsible for supervising asbestos abatement and O&M projects. This course is required for persons permitted to enter restricted and regulated asbestos work areas and for those fulfilling the role of the OSHA Competent Person on an asbestos project.

Under the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) of 1986, asbestos abatement professionals must complete formal training. This course meets EPA and OSHA regulations and is fully approved to satisfy AHERA and ASHARA accreditation requirements for asbestos work in K-12 schools, public, and commercial buildings.

A certified Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor must have completed this training and carry a valid certificate while working on qualifying projects. This comprehensive program combines lectures, discussions, hands-on training, and real-world applications to prepare students for immediate application in the field. The course covers safe work practices, liability, glove bag procedures, and essential supervisory techniques.
